Meeting tomorrow 9/18

Have you been wandering around the neighborhood lately, seeing new businesses, buildings and development and wondered ‘what the heck is going on?’  Then you’ll be sure to want to join us at the Mount Vernon Square Neighborhood Association meeting tomorrow night (7:30 at Yale West Apts) where we are pleased to have Bill McLeod – Executive Director of the Mount Vernon Triangle Community Improvement District – presenting.  Bill will give an overview of all current and upcoming development for our neighborhood and answer any questions you may have.

In addition, the candidates for the four ANC 6E SMDs for our neighborhood will be on-hand to introduce themselves and answer questions.  Remember, the ANC Commissioners are your closest (and many times most important) representatives on your behalf when dealing with the city.  They consider a wide range of policies and programs affecting our neighborhood, including traffic, parking, recreation, street improvements, liquor licenses, zoning, economic development, police protection, sanitation and trash collection.

An agenda is below.  We hope to see you there.
